Join this event to be introduced to the Help to Grow: Management Course, and dive into the world of mentors and mentoring. You will get an overview of the training that is provided to become a mentor, as well as the multiple benefits of volunteering as a mentor for the programme and supporting the growth and development of a small business.
What is the Help to Grow: Management Course?
The Help to Grow: Management Course was launched by the Government in August 2021, with the aim of getting small business leaders to take part in a practical leadership and management training programme. The programme also gives participants access to 1:1 mentoring from an experienced volunteer business mentor.
A volunteer business mentor can be anyone with a minimum of five years experience working in a small business at a senior level or equivalent experience working closely with a small business. As a voluntary mentor, you commit 10 hours over 12 weeks to support businesses with their growth action plan.
