Dates: 10 and 11 March 2020

Take your business into global markets with game-changing export insights, strategies and support.

Is your business ready to export? The UK exporting market is booming. In 2019 a record-breaking £689 billion worth of UK goods and services were exported to overseas markets (a 5% increase since 2018). With ever-growing demand for British products, there has never been a better time for ambitious UK businesses to tap into global markets and achieve substantial growth.

The Department for International Trade has designed this intensive 2-day exporting workshop to help UK companies get started and tap into international markets successfully.  You will leave equipped with the essential exporting information, tools and strategies to expand your business overseas.

Why should you attend?

  • Learn how to prepare your business for export
  • Discover how to analyse market selection and research
  • Develop your knowledge on logistics, shipping, documentation, pricing and getting paid
  • Explore your businesses resourcing and training needs
  • Understand about IP protection, international contracts and legal issues
  • Work on perfecting your pitch, international marketing and comms channels
  • Attend an exclusive private dinner with like-minded businesses and trade experts.

To help implement the strategies learnt and stay on track with exporting goals, businesses will receive the opportunity for expert guidance and support from International Trade Adviser following the workshop.

This workshop is only available to 12 businesses per event and doesn’t come around often - we highly recommend applying quickly.
