Mastering Commercial Contracts: Practical Legal Insights for Growing Businesses
In partnership with Clifford Chance and JPMorganChase, this interactive workshop and networking breakfast is designed to give small businesses clear, practical guidance on navigating the complex world of commercial contracts - a challenge that often sits at the heart of day‑to‑day operations and long‑term growth.
Join expert lawyers as they share real‑world insights on key topics, including:
- Working with agents and distributors, including the impact of EU legislation
- Contracts with investors and key stakeholders
- Employment contracts and safeguarding your business interests
The session will combine an overview of commercial contracts in the UK and internationally with engaging, interactive discussions. You will also have the opportunity to network with experienced lawyers from JPMorganChase and Clifford Chance, as well as fellow entrepreneurs facing similar commercial and legal challenges.
Expect practical guidance you can apply immediately, plus the chance to ask questions, share experiences and build valuable connections.
Eligibility
A range of data points must be collected to assess your company's eligibility for the event based on the following criteria. Companies must:
- Be registered in the UK
- Meet the micro/small business definition of less than 50 employees as per the following definition
- Be trading for a minimum of 18 months
