Consisting of a three-phase programme - get ready for the market, visit the market and exploit the opportunity, the Global Business Innovation Programme is designed to detailed market knowledge, introductions and cultural benefits to enable you to effectively access and exploit a market with new collaborations and partnerships, which businesses would find difficult to obtain themselves.

Why take part in our Global Business Innovation Programme in Industrial Clean Growth with Israel?
This Global Business Innovation Programme, which includes a fully funded week-long visit to Israel, focuses on its thriving innovation ecosystem. A country starved of natural resources, Israel has put innovation first and now ranks 6th in the Global Clean Tech Innovation Index.
The aim of the programme is to support businesses taking new approaches to limit greenhouse gas emissions and achieve Net Zero, which requires successful innovation at scale.
The initiative is particularly relevant to businesses developing technologies that contribute to the UK’s drive for clean growth. In particular, the programme will support businesses developing solutions across innovations to improve the sustainability of manufacturing processes, resulting in either reduced material or energy consumption, including but not limited to:
- Hydrogen and other clean fuels
- Carbon capture usage and storage
- Industrial digitalisation (AI and machine learning, industrial internet of things and connectivity, robotics and automation)
- Renewable energy technologies
Funded by Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency, the focus of the programme is on helping you find potential innovation collaborators and partners in Israel, and gain a better understanding of the Israeli technology and science, and technology landscape as well as insights into the challenges and opportunities of doing business in Israel.
Over the last three years, Israel has seen a rapid growth in the areas of Clean Energy, Green Construction, Agile Supply Chains, Novel Materials, and Circularity; known as the ‘Start-Up Nation’.
With highly ranked entrepreneurial capabilities, and the world’s highest investment in R&D, this young and energetic ecosystem presents many opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and development.
Israel has over 600 climate-tech start-ups and over 560 investment groups investing in its climate-focused start-ups. Between 2018-2020, total investments in climate tech reached 2.97 billion USD.
